The mirrors on the Vino were small, but even with a heavy coat on, I could see behind me very well. After lunch, I took my wife to Jo-Ann Fabrics for some more craft items. In any event, I started the day by making pancakes for my family, after which, my wife and I did go shopping, but we went to places that aren't exactly known as high cost shopping destinations. We then went to Michael's Arts and Crafts to pick up some craft stuff for my wife so she could make some Christmas gifts for our relatives.
Later on, my son and I circulated some fliers with the event detail on them, and then we went to do some shopping. One visitor to this blog mentioned recieving poor service from B&B and I've begun to see some of that myself. No one shown up with an electric motorcycle yet. John Dershimer rolled his Suzuki motorcycle down the diamond plate ramp and gave a short course on some of the ins and outs of riding a motorcycle at high speeds on a race track. Every Moto Hang gathering seems to have some new aspect of motorcycling or riding in play from a member riding around the world to custom sidecar builds to this evening when a truck and a racing motorcycle appeared. Here's where I realized I should have taken notes to at least get some specifics on the motorcycle and rider. I drink bottled water heavily at the get togethers but not beer. One out of three has a beer. So, safe scooting and keep your eyes open for all the other scootin' fools out there.
We started out at "The Dollar Tree" in the Golden Triangle on Lititz Pike. I chatted with Mark a bit, looked at a 2009 Zuma (which had a sold sticker on it), then wended my way up to Trans-Am cycle in Lititz. We left there and headed up over Ridge Avenue to Mohler Church Road, then over to the Green Dragon. Since then there have been many similar races between F1 cars and road cars. Road irregularities are no problem at all, since the 16 inch tires just roll over potholes like they aren't there.
