Blue line is the stock 2014 Fireblade SP with Arrow slip on and before dyno tuning. Red line is after Power Commander installation and dyno tuning. A Power Commander 5, Autotuner and HM quickshifter were fitted. The HM quickshifter unit came off his previously owned bike and after some changes was able to work with the Honda systems. Some cruise control systems operate by vacuum. Tuning the Ruckus carburetor is the same for any CV, Variable Venturi, or Fixed Venturi carburetor; you use the Plug Chop method and change your air/fuel mixture screw and main and pilot jets to tune accordingly. They also use a Keihin CV carburetor, but the CVK is not the same as the NVK. As stated before, Keihin is an engine management company; which means they also manufacture ECUs, fuel injectors, and other EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) components. Until those jets are produced by Keihin or another aftermarket manufacturer, there is not solution except custom modification. It seems to me that at least one part for each vehicle that aftermarket parts are available for is going to be out of wack.

Aftermarket parts also don鈥檛 typically come with a warranty, and they can also void your vehicle鈥檚 warranty in some instances. While we do not recommend, and highly request that you do not, do this modification, you can use solder to close up a main jet and drill it out to enlarge it. If I understand correctly you had oil coming out of the fill hole while it was running with the dipstick out?
The gap between the hood and the right fender starts and finishes with a nice 1/8" gap but in the middle it is bowed out to about 1/4". Nothign he can do. Sometimes the headlights do not fit into the openning in the fender. Most aftermarket parts are ok but some of them just do not fit. Carlo, being an engineer, decided a mild steel one was not good enough and drew up a Stainless Steel one which he had machined and requested us to fit. The Honda Ruckus has been around since 2003 but the one thing that has been constant is that it uses a carburetor instead of fuel injection. It is entirely possible that the main cause is a switch by many motorcycle manufacturers to fuel injection. Fuel injection has been a recent change in scooters, but even though the 2012 Honda Metropolitan is fuel injected, the Honda Ruckus is still using the Constant Velocity (CV) carburetor. The Constant Velocity Carburetor is the OEM carburetor in the Honda Ruckus. Our service department offers aftermarket part and accessory installation, OEM replacement parts, repair, and more. However, some vehicles are harder to maintain and consumes more fuel; thus for some, they are pain in the neckand the pocketrather than helpful driving machines.
